OSSIFY Particulates Allograft Particulate

The OSSIFY allograft particulate range covers every grafting need: a mineralized cortical-cancellous mix that mimics the native composition of human bone, pure mineralized cancellous and mineralized cortical particulates, demineralized cortical particulate, and a demineralized cancellous Sponge Strip — each available in particle sizes and volumes matched to the procedure.
The right particulate for every defect.
Cortical-cancellous mix — mimics the native composition of human bone (~30–40% cancellous, ~60–70% cortical).
Mineralized cancellous — ideal inner surface area and porosity for immediate, stable clot formation.
Mineralized cortical — excellent space maintenance with slower resorption and optimal particle density for long-term volume maintenance.
Demineralized cortical — can promote osteoinductive BMP activity; excellent for small periodontal defects.
Demineralized cancellous Sponge Strip — compresses during placement, yet expands to maintain space.
Osteoconductive scaffold — for efficient turnover to vital host bone.
Indications for Use
Choose the OSSIFY particulate and particle size that matches the procedure:
- Cortical-cancellous mix (0.6–1.25 mm: GBR, extraction socket, implant placement, ridge split; 1–2 mm: large defects, crestal or lateral sinus elevation, ridge augmentation, adjacent extraction sockets).
- Mineralized cancellous (0.25–1 mm: extraction socket, implant placement, perio defect, ridge split, apicoectomy; 1–2 mm: large defects, sinus elevation, ridge augmentation).
- Mineralized and demineralized cortical (0.25–1 mm: large defects, GBR, crestal or lateral sinus elevation, ridge augmentation).
- Demineralized cancellous Sponge Strip (GBR, vertical or horizontal ridge augmentation, extraction socket, implant placement, perio defect).
- Demineralized cancellous 1–4 mm particulate (extraction socket, implant placement, patients with compromised bleeding).
Sponge Strip Advantages
- Osteoinductive – demineralized bone promotes BMP activity
- Space maintaining – compresses during placement, then expands
- Fast clot – rapidly absorbs blood for quick, stable clot formation
- Soft-tissue friendly – unlike block grafts, won’t cause exposures or perforation
